A variety of events, such as new construction, expanding service capabilities, or acquiring additional hospitals and clinics may require capital budgeting committees to allocate scarce capital resources and acquire new capital assets. While the capital budgeting process provides the financial framework for decision making, an asset assessment or inventory can be an important extension to this process. St. Croix offers asset inventory and assessment services providing for the collecting of data from all the items of medical equipment with a purchase value of over a specified value. During this inventory assessment the following data is collected.
Compiled data can be used for the creation of detailed move plans, qualification of any previous assessments, the updating of or development of your Asset Manager database, or the creation of multi-year forecasting plans. Additional services such as asset tagging, useful life assessment, and move planning and sourcing are also available. |
