InnerWireless and St. Croix Systems have teamed up to develop integration between St. Croix’s Asset Manager Solution and InnerWireless’ real-time location system, called SPOT (www.innerwireless.com)

Working closely with InnerWireless, we have developed a web services interface between our respective applications. Connectivity between Equipment Records and Real-Time Location information enhances both the effectiveness and efficiency of key hospital personnel.

Here is how the two solutions will interact:

• For those pieces of equipment that have an established record within Asset Manager and an associated InnerWireless real-time location tag, the tag location will be present within the Equipment Record.
• The location information for tagged equipment is viewable in multiple areas within Asset Manager including within the Equipment Record, Work Orders and Associated Equipment, and Reports.
• The tag identifications will update within Asset Manager when there is a change in location or when tags are added or removed from the InnerWireless solution.
• Information displayed in Asset Manager will include: Current Location; when location is last updated; and history location.
