Application Hosting

In today's complex healthcare environment, the more heavily the organizations rely on everyday software applications, the fewer resources they have to pay attention to them. With St. Croix Systems' Hosted EAM solution, hospitals do not need a crew of IT support personnel to support and  maintain an in-house application and database of servers. Instead, for a monthly fee, St. Croix will provide application management support, including maintenance packs and upgrades, and database backup. St. Croix Systems hosts your Enterprise Asset Management installation whereby all software and associated databases are stored on a secure server and continuously monitored and maintained for peak performance. Users work via high-speed internet connections from their locally installed client software and our staff performs all needed updates and upgrades. Full application and technical support is provided by our help-desk. And to minimize the need for a large capital budget, St. Croix' Hosted EAM are deployed with a low initial start-up cost.

Network Management/Data Center

The integrated platform for Hosted EAM includes high speed Internet connectivity; redundant, diversely routed bandwidth; 24x7 monitoring of network connections; secure cabinets for equipment; fire detection and suppression systems; UPS and generator power backup; and physical and electronic security measures.


Application/Hardware Maintenance

Experienced maintenance support for applications and hardware. Preventive maintenance periods are scheduled at times most convenient for customers. During these times, routine maintenance checks of both software and hardware are conducted. Hosted customers are on a routine maintenance schedule designed to minimize or eliminate system downtime.


System Administration

Customers have a single company as a point of contact for all network, hardware, software, and database issues. Support personnel work with the appropriate vendors to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely fashion. We are responsible for debugging and resolving application issues.


Database Administration

Experienced database administration support of hosted applications is provided. Our goal is to ensure user satisfaction. Database administration services include software installation, backup and recover, performance tuning and monitoring, troubleshooting, and failure recovery.


Application Administration

Experienced application administration support of hosted applications in a multi-user environment is also provided. We install the application, load updated St. Croix Systems software versions, load patches, and monitor application performance as needed to save valuable customer time and resources. Updates and upgrades are provided automatically ensuring you are always on the most current release.


Backup and Recovery

Daily backups of the system are performed using well-defined procedures and tapes are moved to an off-site, secure location as an added measure of safety.


Security Management

Security is of the utmost importance to St. Croix customers. Areas of safety include professional firewall systems, intrusion detection logs, emergency response procedures, auditing and physical security.
